~Me, it's my quote!
Hi, I'm Alice Takis Karavotas, a student at Digital Arts and Entertainment, studying Independent Game Production.
I started designing games in elementary school with paper and Legos, now I design games with paper and Unity.
My goal is to create emotionally resonant games and connect with players on a deeper level.
Q: What does general writer mean?
A: I write characters, worldbuilding, narratives, etc for games... But I also write concept papers, blogs and stories.
Q: Why should we hire you?
A: I would hope the portfolio would speak to that, but I get it, it's a lot. So the TLDR; I go out of my way to be able to fill any aspect of a team, I am able to design games and frameworks in any setting and I'm an absolute joy to have around (totally not biased).
Q: You put Programmer as one of your main skills yet you don't have any programming based projects.
A: I have a background in ICT and I am capable of doing most programming for a game but it's not a specialization, unlike design.
Q: What is the vault?
A: A collection of older projects and/or those not good enough for the main page. I know it is generally frowned upon to showcase older/lesser work, which is why it's hidden in a vault.
Q: Why is everything using the Arial font??
A: It's my favorite font. yes I have a favorite font and yes it's Arial. I'm not sorry...
